Government Affairs

In 2007, we shifted our primary focus to legislative issues. This makes us a special interest group, and as such we need to organize and operate so we can advocate for the interests of our membership.

Therefore, it falls to the chapter management to ready the membership to participate in grassroots advocacy.  And, somehow we will muster the skills and time to identify, analyze, and monitor proposed legislation at the relevant levels of government:  the state and the U. S. Congress.
